Brief biography

Trained at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, completed renal nursing course at St James’ University hospital in Leeds. 
Worked in paediatric nephrology team at RMCH since 1988.
Co-ordinates the care of children on peritoneal dialysis ensuring continuity of care within the hospital and community.

Research experience

Contributed to research projects undertaken with the department of Paediatric Nephrology.  Currently involved in research projects, between the department of Nephrology and Manchester University, looking at teaching parents and families. 

Member of Paediatric Nephrology Nursing Group and Royal College of Nursing.

Chair of North West PD Community Nursing Forum.
